Au Revoir!

Ήρθε το καλοκαίρι, η καλύτερη εποχή

Φεύγουν τα παιδιά της τρίτης λυκείου

να ξεκινήσουν μια καινούρια αρχή.

Τον ορίζοντά τους να διευρύνουν

Καλύτεροι άνθρωποι στο μέλλον να γίνουν.

Θυμόμουν στα εννιά μου ήθελα πάρα πολύ να μεγαλώσω

Τώρα στα δεκαεννία μου θέλω απλώς να ξαπλώσω.

Αχ! Να ήμουν ακόμα μικρό παιδάκι

Που όλο τρώει παγωτό καϊμάκι.

Μα η ζωή δεν είναι όλο γλέντια και χαρές

Υπάρχει και η θλίψη που πρέπει να βιώνουμε κάποιες φορές.

Θλίψη που ήρθε η ώρα να πούμε αντίο

στους μαθητές, δασκάλους και στο σχολείο το ίδιο.

Αντίο, στις σκανδαλιές των δασκάλων

Αντίο, στις φωνές μικρών και μεγάλων.

Αντίο, στις αξέχαστες στιγμές και στις αναμνήσεις

Μα ήλθε η ώρα για καινούριες εξερευνήσεις!

English Translation:

Summer, the best time has come,

We, grade 12 are finally leaving

to start a new beginning.

To broaden our horizons

And become better people of tomorrow.

I remembered when I was nine, I really wanted to grow up

Now, at the age of nineteen, all I want is to lay down.

Ah! If I were a small child

Who just eats ice cream.

But life is not all parties and joys

There is also the sadness that we have to experience sometimes.

Sadness that it's time to say goodbye

To the students, teachers and the school.

Goodbye, to the teacher’s sermon

Goodbye, to the voices of young and old.

Goodbye to the unforgettable moments and the memories

But the time has come for new beginnings!

*This is a farewell poem of the grade 12 students to the PSG family, for they are about to

embark a new journey in their life. PSG FAMILY till we meet again!
